SOOOO... yesterday was game 7 in our "Wasatch softball league" and we are still win less =( it is still really fun to get out and play a fun game but it's starting to get really old not winning a single game. We are not half way through the session and have one make up game that was rained out so we hope to get a W soon!
(I was riding the pine pony... we have to many people that want to play so we have to sub out half way through the game so everyone gets to play)

Memorial Day

Today was one of the few gatherings throughout the year on the Warenski side. Every year the number of people gets smaller and smaller. Pretty sad. I am left with a few thoughts today. One is - why are there only 2x per year everyone gets together? Why does it take Memorial Day to get us to gather at the cemetery to remember lost family members? Is just showing up more important than having a MEANINGFUL rememberence? What is expected of us when we are there? Is all the small talk just a way of everyone distancing themselves from the reality of WHERE we are and WHY we are there?

I don't know... I guess I just had more time to think about things today because of my lack of talking. It seems that for the past 6months we have felt as if we need to keep some things private and it is hard. It is not in my nature to hide things. So I just don't know what to say?!?! Every time I have seen Rob's parents and I get asked "whats wrong" I have to give some other excuse to explain why I'm being quiet. To be honest, it is completely possible that everyone knows but hasn't said anything. Maybe a part of me wants to believe that.

Long Time No Post!

Where to start... where to start??? Well there have been some things worth mentioning but I don't really remember them right now :) The biggest thing that has gone on is that we decided to have me stay home with the boys. Being a stay-at-home mom and getting better are my main focuses now. I am more excited than words can convey at imagining what this time with my boys will bring!

Rob and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary May 1st. We went to the Alaskan Inn - which is this adorable hotel in Ogden Canyon that has individual cabins that are themed with something from Alaska.

When the boys came home from visiting Aunt C and Heavy we had a lot to contend with! Somehow they came home with more clothes and SHOES than they went down there with... wonder how that happened... AUNT C! ;) And for the first time in a while WE actually got to shop for clothes for the Summer.

Rob is still at Crossroads and doing extremely well, having only had one month this year that he didn't collect 100% of the rent - which puts him well ahead of anyone else company-wide! I am so proud of him! He has shouldered a lot of responsibility this year and I really don't know how he does it all.

Mother's day was great! The boys gave me an iPod so I can listen to music when I go on walks and exercise. I hope me saying "I want an iPod for Mother's Day," didn't influence the gift HA HA HA

I have been having some problems with being sick to my stomach and stomach pains. I decided to not return to my surgeon because he just makes me feel bad about myself and the other issues I am battling. He refused to even entertain the idea that something could be wrong with the surgery. So I got in to see my G.I. doctor at the UofU and 3 days later he had me in to get a scope of my stomach; that was Friday and he said my stomach looks fine. I am not giving up on this so I pushed him and agreed to explore other things that can cause the symptoms - next I will have a CAT scan of my small intestine. I just want to feel GOOD or even OK! That was the whole reason for the surgery. Anyway.....

In my quest to be more active I talked Rob into taking the boys to Wheeler Farm today. It was a lot of fun. The boys knew all the animals and sounds that go with them. Carter was so sociable and greeted all of the animals with "Hi you {pig/chicken/cow etc.}" and each animal got a long "goodbye". Here are some pictures...

Kids came home

Well, my little Demon Spawn have FINALLY come home. What a difference a week can make! We are having a hard time telling them apart. They are speaking much better. They just seem like totally different kids! Carter is being lovey - which is unlike him. It's just weird I guess... but great!! I'm very excited to color eggs with them tonight and wake up to a visit from the Easter Bunny :) It will be so much more fun this year!!! I can't believe it's their third Easter!!! Time really does fly by. I am just glad it's flying with them.
