Where to start... where to start??? Well there have been some things worth mentioning but I don't really remember them right now :) The biggest thing that has gone on is that we decided to have me stay home with the boys. Being a stay-at-home mom and getting better are my main focuses now. I am more excited than words can convey at imagining what this time with my boys will bring!
Rob and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary May 1st. We went to the Alaskan Inn - which is this adorable hotel in Ogden Canyon that has individual cabins that are themed with something from Alaska.
When the boys came home from visiting Aunt C and Heavy we had a lot to contend with! Somehow they came home with more clothes and SHOES than they went down there with... wonder how that happened... AUNT C! ;) And for the first time in a while WE actually got to shop for clothes for the Summer.
Rob is still at Crossroads and doing extremely well, having only had one month this year that he didn't collect 100% of the rent - which puts him well ahead of anyone else company-wide! I am so proud of him! He has shouldered a lot of responsibility this year and I really don't know how he does it all.
Mother's day was great! The boys gave me an iPod so I can listen to music when I go on walks and exercise. I hope me saying "I want an iPod for Mother's Day," didn't influence the gift HA HA HA
I have been having some problems with being sick to my stomach and stomach pains. I decided to not return to my surgeon because he just makes me feel bad about myself and the other issues I am battling. He refused to even entertain the idea that something could be wrong with the surgery. So I got in to see my G.I. doctor at the UofU and 3 days later he had me in to get a scope of my stomach; that was Friday and he said my stomach looks fine. I am not giving up on this so I pushed him and agreed to explore other things that can cause the symptoms - next I will have a CAT scan of my small intestine. I just want to feel GOOD or even OK! That was the whole reason for the surgery. Anyway.....
In my quest to be more active I talked Rob into taking the boys to Wheeler Farm today. It was a lot of fun. The boys knew all the animals and sounds that go with them. Carter was so sociable and greeted all of the animals with "Hi you {pig/chicken/cow etc.}" and each animal got a long "goodbye". Here are some pictures...
